http://misterpaulsenglish.com/tag/hi/ Ever wondered how would it feel like to be in a candy land, unless you have been to one already? Well its mesmerizing ! We got a chance to be at one such candy land recently – 100 Desserts Buffet hosted by Spectra The Leela & Eazydiner, where we got a chance to taste delectable desserts from all across the globe under one roof ! The event was fun, with no boring speeches, only 100 desserts to drown into and satiate our taste buds ! And we did incredibly good ..
The event took place at Spectra restaurant at The Leela Ambience Gurgaon. The restaurant has a beautiful contemporary decor and classy feel. We went from one display to other, exploring all the scrumptious dishes, and picking one after another. I love sweets, but when it comes to Indian sweets, anything with coconut in it is my favorite. I tried coconut halwa and it tasted absolutely delicious, balanced sweetness and beautiful texture and quite light for being an indian dessert.
I was immediately drawn towards the asian counter, dates wontons and sweet sushi caught my attention and I couldn’t help but picked 3 desserts including Tab Tim Grob (Rubies in Coconut Milk), which is a Thai dessert. Date-Wontons were crispy and delicious, so was the sushi, however I found Tab Tim Grob a little too sweet. The presentation was undoubtedly pretty .
One might find the idea of 100 Desserts over whelming, but believe me you get to choose from so many options that it makes the entire experience so fun !
Like the previous Eazydiner event, 100 Dessert Buffet was also full of good food and like minded people. We got to interact with chefs & foodies, talk about foods are the most interesting ones I must admit. We are surely looking forward to more such fun-filled events in future.
