Review & Experience – The Hudson Café – Hudson lane

go to link Amongst the mushrooming population of Cafes on the Hudson lane, visited another gem of a place “The Hudson Café”. It’s pretty easy to be lost in the jungle of youth cafes on this lane but this place clearly stands out in terms of food, ambience and service. Read on to find more –

Ambience – Raw, peppy, colourful and young are some of the adjectives which can be aptly used to describe the fell of the entire place. The retro style green and blue faded furniture alongside the raw walls gives this place a distinguished feel and appeal. They play good upbeat music too.

Peach Iced Tea

Peach Iced Tea

This one was a pretty authentic iced-tea found rarely in cafes. Perfect amalgamation of sweet and the taste of the tea. Garnished with mint leaves, the iced-tea was indeed refreshing

Mexican Salad

Mexican Salad

The salad had my favourite Nachos topped with lettuce, bell peppers some olives and the olive oil dressing. Served along with the garlic breads the salad was lip smacking and I personally loved the presentation too

Cheese Cigars

Cheese Cigars

The crispy from outside and cheesy from inside cigars tasted wonderful along with the honey chilli dip

Cheese Baked Nachos

Cheese Baked Nachos

Served in bright yellow pan, bathed in cheese the dish was too salty, but the Nachos alone were pretty flavourful.

Penne Arabita

Penne Arabita

Presented in a bright yellow pan, was not up to the mark and clearly did not match the benchmark set by the previous food items. The pasta was covered with some sort of masala which took away the taste from the pasta. Just average

Hudson Medley

Hudson Medley

Cute, chirpy looking dish served with garlic bread and   a mountain of rice surrounded by gravy. I am still drooling thinking about it. The gravy was creamy, spicy and was blasting with flavours and colour. Beautiful to the eyes and temping to the appetite. A must try

Veggie Attack Pizza

Veggie Attack Pizza

Loaded with veggies (Onion, Capsicum, mushroom, tomato, sweet corn) and cheese the pizza looked wow, but tasted just average.

Brownie Sundae

Brownie Sundae

The vanilla topped Brownie Sundae was a complete delight and a perfect ending to the meal

Also to mention the loaded http://jardinscarya.com/wp-content/plugins/page-google-maps/css/default.css Brownie Cookie Shake

Brownie Cookie Shake

The thick creamy chocolaty taste will surely keep you glued to the shake. A must try

The service was great and the servers were attentive too. Good food coupled with great ambience is for sure worth a definite visit.
