Brunch is the best way to catch up with your friends over some good food and free flow of drinks. Of late I have been loving the idea of buffet breakfast+lunch on Sunday. We have been to quite a few of them and this time we decided to give the much-talked-about Sunday brunch K3 JW Marriott Aerocity.
Let me talk about the restaurant that hosts the brunch – K3. It has 3 kitchens running under one roof , by independent chefs (mostly expats ) and a dedicated team that ensures smooth operation even on busiest of days.
The restaurant has contemporary interiors, quite cozy and private sitting areas where you can sit in large groups. The brunch spread I must say is super lavish! You will have to walk for 10 minutes or more just to look at the spread and there are chances that you will forget where you started from and keep going in circles (in a good way). I love being lost in food heaven, thats what I would call it.
We started off with the Asian counter, tasted various different varieties of dimsusms. Prawn, chicken & veg are what we tasted, and all of them were juicy, soft & delicious, accompanied by various relishes/sauces.
Next I moved to the italian area, were I could see pizzas, roasted chicken, some of the best italian delicacies. Whatever I took from there tasted great and full of flavours.
For those who like to keep the calories in check can go to the salad counter, I took advantage of the lavish lebanese spread, and filled my plate with baba ganoush, hummus and Tabbouleh. Loved the freshness of the ingredients, bursting with flavours !
Now my meal cant be completed without taking a dive in our good old north Indian, clay oven cooked food. Be it missi roti + saag, or rogan josh + Biryani, everything lived upto the claims. Super delicious! I loved the biryani, fragrant rice with juicy chicken pieces!
The outdoor area also had 3 live counters, I tasted veg & non-veg galouti kababs. They were small, served with parathas. I loved having the bite-sized portions, it is easier for you to taste as much as you can without wasting food. Also I loved dahi bhalla chaat .. It was so so good and quite refreshing.
Highlight of the brunch was orange based dessert counter. It was a never ending sweet ride. I tried macaroons, panacotta, crumble, gajar ka halwa & cheese cakes.
Live carving station featuring tender lamb leg, slow roasted poultry and herb roasted chicken. The courtyard would have the age old rustic cooking which will feature the back yard bar be que from far west with choice of meats and vegetables and traditional sauces and accompaniments,
“Catch of the day” sea food bar featuring u cozaar 25 mg prawns, pomfret and other sea food prepared to order with an array of marinades, a real backwater treat of fresh catch from last night, along with our very own Delhi 06 food – the Sigri kebabs, kormas and biriyanis.
Other highlight would be the “Eat street” delicacies from all forms of life like moong dal vada, scrambled carrot cakes and fritto misto served in authentic attire and service ware, true to the spirit ‘Dehlvi’ chaat.
The desserts would take the center stage with abundant varieties of homemade ice creams, warm Belgian waffles, brioche pudding, delectable chocolate delicacies and lip smacking freshly baked tarts, cupcakes and Chef signature creations
