Tanddav Greater Kailash GK 2 … Foodies never stop; they are like wanderers hopping place to place in search of new cuisines and restaurant. Being a big time foodie I like to explore my city and aspire to know every bit of bit when it comes to food.
Keeping up with the same I recently found this very elegant and restaurant, namely TANDDAV, a new venture located at LSC MASJID MOTH in GK2.
TANDDAV is a two floor sophisticated dine in restaurant, beautifully done ambience with renaissance and modern decor perfectly done in wooden and white making it luxurious and more contemporary.
The moment you step in, you will be greeted with a huge wine cellar containing a wide range of unique and finest wines, while soft music and welcoming staffs makes it even better.
They particularly serve Asian and European cuisine with innovative cocktails which made me drool over this restaurant even more,
Coming to the food,
I started with drinks namely,
THE CUCMBER APPLE MARTINI
It was a very pleasing drink containing refreshing muddled cucumber and green apple topped with vodka and sweet & sour mix, a very refreshing drink with soft flavours which will dehydrate you completely. A perfect start off drink.
ORGANIC MARTINI ROSE
A blend of organic rose tea, rose syrup, fresh lemon and vodka. It was a beautiful drink with mild flavours.
Coming to the starters, I ordered,
BACON BURRATA CAPRESE
Hollowed tomatoes stuffed with burrata, drizzled with pesto and balsamic with bacon, it was perfectly prepared and well seasoned. I just couldn’t get enough of this one, a perfect dish; I literally ordered one more plate of it.
COLD WASABI SOUP
It was served in cute tiny cups making you awe for its presentation. A perfect refreshing summer time drink with punch of wasabi presented with a coriander leaf on top making it a darling and savoury drink with heavenly taste.
BASIL AND COCONUT HARICOT BEANS
Crisped beans gently tossed in teriyaki glaze, peanuts and topped with raw coconut, a very healthy dish with sweet flavour .it was a very tempting dish with everything done right and coconut spread above making it more delicious.
Coming to the mains, I ordered
Grilled chicken in goan spices on a bed of sticky rice pulao. The chicken was cut in big pieces blended with correct spices making it really filling and utterly delicious. A palatable, fit for king dish. You just cannot give it a miss if you visit Tanddav.
By this time I was so full that I just couldn’t have more of anything in main course,
And then It was finally the time of the dessert to arrive *favourite part*,
COCONUT AND JAGGERY CREPES
A soothing dessert with coconut filling small wraps and vanilla ice cream with jaggery basket, coconut wraps were really soft going perfectly with the vanilla ice cream, a delightful and toothsome dish.
It was all over a very good experience, it impressed me in every single way, not just with the ambience but with food too. A recommendable place.
