Movie Review – Titli

Star cast: Ranvir Shorey, Amit Sial, Shashank Arora,

Shivani Rahguvanshi, Lalit Behl

Director: Kanu Behl

The film is set in a crude Indian society where crime n brutality speak. Titli ( Shashank Arora) is the youngest of three brothers who live with their father on the outskirts of the capital.

This family you have never seen before. They sit together, eat together and set out for a kill! Totally opposite to the shiny characters served by the A-listers.

Its cinematography is realistic to the core, their early morning chores, hideous clearing of the throats while brushing, peeing of the girl out of fright, hammer hits on the heads of the victims…….shakes  you from inside.

The family’s ‘profession’ is carjacking. And they don’t even fear from killing if the person opposes. Titli is married to Neelu(Shivani Raghuvanshi), to add on to their ‘business’. Who would doubt their intension if a nice looking girl is around?

The performances are exemplary. The elder brothers( Ranvir Shorey and Amit Sial)are barbarous. The father (Lalit Behl)is ghoulish. Titli and Neelu, blameless, fighting for their own lives.

This is one film that u will love it for its realism and hate it for its filthiness…..
