Review & Experience – Indian Grill Company

Indian Grill Company, Connaught place is a recently opened outlet which is redefining the Barbeque/live grill concept with their ever so delicious food combined with the strategically planned menu for each day.. It caters to the food desires of every age group. Apart from holding a four Course Buffet lunch & Dinner on a daily basis, there is a High Tea Buffet also.

Ambiance 1

Ambiance 2

Spread across two floors, the outlet has a seating of more than 70 odd people at the same time. The décor of the outlet has a sophisticated outlook complimenting the exquisite menu- plush sofas and expensive artifacts reflect the royal choice of the owner.

Ambiance 4
We started our meal by ordering Fruit Punch & Kharock (Jeera & Ginger based Mock tail) which was complimentary with lunch buffet.

The Food:

Palak Chaat

Palak Chaat

Crispy spinach leaves mixed with Papdi, topped with imly chutney & curd acted as a perfect appetizer.

Teekha Charra Aaloo

Teekha Charra Aaloo

Flat potatoes shallow fried and sprinkled with spices to give it that authentic Awadhi Lucknow touch.

Murgh Tulsi Tikka – This one had an innovative mix of spices and Tulsi which gave it a very unique taste.

Singaporean Cauliflower

It was a regular cauliflower prepared in Chinese Manchurian style and was a delight to eat.

Mutton Seekh Kebab

Mutton Seekh Kebab

Another finger licking starter served right from the chef’s kitchen. It was a perfect mince of mutton marinated and baked in spices.

Mani Kasoori Tikka – Fish tikka as we call it, was soft and spongy and had the perfect blend of spices to it.

The spicy corn salad, Macroni Salad & Beetroot dip salad, all were outstanding.

Chicken Biryani

Chicken Biryani

The Biryani was served in a small handi at the respective tables. The rice was aptly cooked and had a perfect flavor of Indian spices.

The dips served alongside the starters deserve a mention

There were four varieties of dips, the regular Mint one, the sweet and sour one, pineapple dip and the sweet chilly dip with Namak Parre, which is a crunch savory snack.

Noodles & Stir Fried Vegetables

Noodles & Stri Fried

It was a delight in the main course, which was appropriately cooked and tasted WOW.

The Dal Makhani, Butter Chicken, Saag, Mutton Rara and Kadhi Pakora were lip smacking which formed a part of the main course.

The Dessert Spread Was Equally Wide

Form Gulab Jamuns to Healthy fruits, there was everything. The Sabudana Kheer, Steamed Pudding, Nariyal Ladoo and Assorted Pudding were some of the desserts which simply stood out and gave that perfect end to the scrumptious spread of meal.

Live Grill
Live Grill

The live grill on your table along with extremely courteous staff ensures that you have a lazy lunch and relaxing dinner time. Prior booking is advised especially on weekends as it is swarming with people and there is a huge waiting line. I would categorize this outlet as a perfect place where you can bond with your family and friends while enjoying good food and a fabulous service!!

Highly Recommended~!

Keep Eating..Cheers!!
