• Karim’s
If you ask any foodie for the best place to eat at Jama Masjid then I am sure they will say “Karim’s”. It is one of the Legendary Restaurants in Delhi. Food is brilliant. You might have to wait for seating considering they are crowded most days. But it’s worth the wait.
Must Try Dishes
– Kebabs – Mutton / Chicken
– Mutton Qorma with Sheermal Roti (sweet bread)
– Brain Curry
– Phirni – You should not miss out on this after the main course.

• Aslam Chicken Corner
This place is famous for its unique interpretation of the butter chicken, when I say butter chicken it’s not the usual one, here loads of Amul butter is poured in as a gravy onto hand-grilled chicken. For a tangy taste, they add a little bit of curd in that. Believe me, it’s amazingly delicious. The chicken is served with a basket of rumali roti, green chutney, and onion.
Location: 540, Bazaar Matia Mahal, Jama Masjid.
• Al Jawahar
Al Jawahar is again one of the Mughlai food restaurants in old Delhi. This is an immediate neighbor to Karim’s. Have tried so many dishes and found few of them even better than Karim’s. A few of my favorites are Chicken Jahangri, Mutton Rogan Josh, and Biryani. The ambience is a little let down but the food is good.

• Haji Mohd. Hussain Fried Chicken
This place was established 40 years ago and is famous for fried chicken. They marinate chicken in their secret spices and then fry them in a huge pan of boiling oil. It tastes delicious. They serve it with chutney and rumali roti
