The moment one steps inside you will find the place undone, raw and unpolished. But after some minutes one would realize that this is the USP of the place. You will find a guitar, white plastered walls and a fantastic, calm, sound and beautiful semi outdoor sitting with huge glass panes. Where one can sit, relax and bask in the sun on a calm and cold winter day. This is absolutely a no fuss café. Sitting in the natural light with colorful flowering plants around one really feels at peace and close to the nature.
The indoors have a bar along with the normal seating and an area for live music too.
Food Review
- Crosstini Platter – Three different varieties of Bite sized canapes with Tomato Mozzarella left pretty tangy and a refreshing taste on the tongue while the Caramelized Onions with Feta cheese were bland with appropriately caramelized onions topped on appropriate quantity of Feta….yummm , but the Chicken Keema took the heart away with a minced chicken and corn toppings
- Chickpea Lettuce Parcels (served along with potato wedges)– Their one of the most refreshing and beautiful looking dish. The beetroot humus smeared chickpea patty came all packed in green lettuce covering with a cherry atop. The bite into the lettuce and chickpea patty was indeed a unique one with the crunch of the lettuce and the soft tender chickpea spreading out the juices onto the pallet
- Veg Kokum Curry with Malabar Parrota – This tangy coconut based curry was laden with authentic flavors and the fresh, warm and soft Malabar Parrota along with it took the experience to another level
- Florentina Pizza – The thin crust cheesy pizza with topped with Chicken, spinach, sundried tomatoes, olive and ricotta cheese was an absolute delight to have
- Flax Ice Cream – Vanilla Ice Cream with flax seeds sprinkled over the ice cream. This one was not a dessert material at all. Less sweet and tasted very eggish. Clearly something was wrong with this one.
Service
The server was all smiling and very humble throughout our meal. All the food items were served hot and fresh. Brownie points for their simple yet elegant food presentation.
One can always enjoy live music playing on selective days, while hanging out friends over a tasty meal at this chilled out place. Loved the interiors and the whole concept around which the place is decked up.
